This weekend marks two years since Lampton Leisure reopened Hounslow’s leisure facilities after the pandemic.

Part of The Lampton Group, that delivers services to the London Borough of Hounslow and its residents, Lampton Leisure operates six leisure facilities across the borough. Facilities at the centres include swimming pools, gyms, exercise studios, an athletics centre and even a wellbeing suite.

Lampton Leisure was founded during the pandemic, with an unwavering commitment to building a sustainable leisure provision for local residents in the Hounslow area. A series of initiatives including free access to facilities immediately after the second lockdown, the launch of a new healthy café offering, a new app providing virtual fitness classes, free 6-week outdoor summer community sessions and more, has seen Lampton Leisure firmly establish itself as a leisure provider with a commercial head but a community heart.

Lampton Leisure has further established itself as part of the local community with a series of community initiatives. These include introducing tennis to the borough, encouraging over 16s back to netball, creating an exercise referral programme and supporting children from multiple schools entering the London Youth Games.

Rowland Omamor, Managing Director of Lampton Leisure, commented: “We are really proud of the progress Lampton Leisure has made over the past two years. We believe we have really improved the leisure offer in Hounslow and we are working hard to make sure the community is benefiting from everything we are doing.”
